WindNeo was born in a small workshop in Shanghai, where our founder — a lifelong horologist and collector — could find no winder worthy of his Patek Philippe collection. Every product on the market was either technically adequate but aesthetically vapid, or beautiful but mechanically unreliable.
The decision was simple: build one himself. The first WindNeo prototype took eleven months and three failed designs before the fourth version earned a permanent place on his desk — and the admiration of every collector who visited.
By 2015, WindNeo had established partnerships with two Swiss motor manufacturers whose movements power some of the world's finest clocks — and with an Italian atelier in Florence whose leather craftsmen had spent decades working for the great luggage houses.
The combination — Swiss mechanical precision inside, Italian leather artistry outside — became the WindNeo signature. It remains so today: every product, from the Classic to the Imperial, is built to the same uncompromising standard.
Word travels in the collector community. By 2020, WindNeo was serving collectors in 21 countries — from private residences in London and Monaco to boutiques in Tokyo and Geneva. The Bespoke programme, launched in 2019, had already produced commissions for watch clubs, luxury hotels, and private estates.
Through it all, we have kept one policy absolute: no piece leaves our atelier until the craftsman responsible for it is willing to put his name on the maker's plate. Every WindNeo carries that accountability — and that pride.
